Over The Grass Farm is a 400+ acre diversified farm in The Plains, VA about one hour west of Washington DC. We believe that healthy food comes from healthy soils and happy animals. Our objective is to create a connection between the consumer, the farmer, and the land. We are proud of what we do and enjoy creating the tie that binds people to their food.

OTGF offers…
• Garden Produce. Even during winter enjoy our fresh greens, salad mixes, and hearty root crops from our hoop houses. During the regular growing season we have diverse gardens and orchards, producing vegetables, berries, tree fruits, cut flowers, and bedding plants. Always produced with organic methods.
• Grass finished beef. Dry aged and vacuum sealed individual cuts of premium beef. Also available by the whole, ½ or ¼ steer. Our Angus beef is grass feed and finished, Hormone and antibiotic free.
• Grass finished lamb. Vacuum sealed individual cuts of high quality lamb. Also available by the whole or ½ lamb.
• Milk through our Cow Share program. Purchase a share in a cow and receive creamy, yummy milk every week. We are a grass-based Jersey dairy.
• Eggs. Fresh brown eggs from our buff orphenton hens that are allowed plenty of access to the outdoors. They are on green pasture during the growing season. Raised hormone & antibiotic free.
• Honey. Delicious, mild honey from our resident hives of honey bees.
• Homemade Jams and Jellies. From the farm’s fruit crops.
• Wool and Woolen socks made from the wool of our sheep.
